Reviews and Ratings
The cabin was a nice spot nestled by Coolidge Creek, where I enjoyed the soothing sound of running water at night. It was comfortable enough for our stay, with handy amenities like a refrigerator and stovetop. However, I found it a bit pricey for what we received, and a few issues like a non-functional TV and unclean vents marred the experience. Despite these drawbacks, seeing deer and a bison made the stay memorable.
Our stay was solid, offering clean and comfortable accommodations but nothing too extravagant. While we enjoyed the charm of the historical lodge, it did have some dated features. The restaurant served good food, but there weren't many dining options close by. The limited air conditioning and small room sizes were a drawback, yet it served as a decent base for exploring the surrounding park.
My recent stay at the lodge had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the room was clean and had a nice layout, plus the location was beautiful and convenient for accessing nearby attractions. However, the service was lacking, especially at the front desk, where I encountered some unfriendly staff. Additionally, the cleanliness in some areas could have been better. Overall, it’s a mixed experience with a potential for improvement.
My stay at the lodge was filled with charm and history, but it came with a few hiccups. The staff was incredibly accommodating, turning a disappointing air conditioning issue into a great experience with a lovely suite and complimentary breakfasts. However, the lodge does show its age, and while the restaurant was a highlight, my initial dining experience left much to be desired. Overall, it’s a unique place with character, but be prepared for some quirks.
Our stay at the State Game Lodge was truly unforgettable! The cabin was cozy and well-furnished, providing all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the stunning views and incredible dining experiences. Unfortunately, the service at check-in could have been better, which slightly impacted our overall enjoyment. Still, this lodge is a perfect blend of nature and comfort, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore the area.
